CVIT-Party 2008

It was my great pleasure to attend yet another party given by CVIT.
Just thought of the party last time, before starting. Two years back we went to Dholaridhani http://www.dholaridhani.com/ a rajastani resort. The place was very good and all. But couldnt enjoy that much, since that time i just reached CVIT, and didnt had any friends. It was a group of around 100 people with profs. Everybody was in their own groups. Some people like me was left out with any groups!! But this time, I was pretty sure that, it will not happen since i have so many friends now with me !!Anyways, its great that, more than expected happened.

This years CVIT party was at Pragati Resorts, Hyderabad. http://www.pragatiresorts.com/ . We started from the college at 1.00pm, 2nd March 2008, in a single bus. It was a small group of 40 students. In the bus, the people were playing "Damshrads"[Is spellign correct?? ] and enjoying a lot.I was just watching, and couldnt involve in that, since it was all happened in Hindi, and Hindi movie names..which i dont have any idea about!! ..
In between we stopped the bus, and had 2 samoozas each, instead of lunch!! :)

Around 3 we reached the resort. Boys in our group directly went for the water games, and, we who had already decided not to touch water, enjoyed our selves in the children's park. :).. Around 5.00pm, professors joined us. Then we moved towards the conference room, for evening snacks, and followed by the group activities, and games.

We are divided into five groups using a 'lot' system. Prof. PJN and Jawahar sir happened to be in Group 1. and i fall in to group 4, Anoop sirs group. Group 5 got Jayanti mam. and groups 3, and 4 didnt have any profs. The first game was, making a building using the plastic building blocks given to us. The group with tallest building and, which can balance a half litter and one litter bottle will be the winner of the game. We played that with team spirit. It was the group-1 that got the first prize for it. We got second place!!

And the second game was an outdoor game, the group has to hold their hands and make a ring. And the whole ring has to run in a zig-zag manner, through 5 land-marks. while running if someone fall or the ring is broken, the team will be foul. And we also got a foul!!:D, team 3 secured first place in that game.

Next 'tug of war', which was played, just for fun.After that, we went back to the conference room. And played Tambola. prizes were distributed to all winners. Next we had a small question and answer session for the profs and staffs. and it was fun. After that, we proceeded for the dinner. and then group photos sessions.
By the time, it was 10pm, end of the day, and we came back to IIIT, with lots of joy and memories in our mind!!
